Healthcare Administrative Partners Hires Maryagnes Marek as Vice President of Health Information Services
Media, PA – July 9, 2015 –Healthcare Administrative Partners (HAP), a full-service revenue cycle management solutions provider based in Media, PA, has hired industry veteran Maryagnes Marek as Vice President, Health Information Services. Ms. Marek is a thought-leader with 30 years of diverse experience in all functions of Health Information Management and has been instrumental in the development of remote coding operations and computer assisted coding solutions for multiple organizations.
Prior to joining HAP, Ms. Marek served in HIM executive positions with several hospitals and healthcare companies. She is both a member of and an active participant in local and national HIM groups, including the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Ms. Marek has also served as an adjunct faculty member in the Medical Coding Certificate program at a local community college and has worked for several large national and international healthcare consulting companies in both the public and private sector.
In her new role at HAP, Ms. Marek will lead the growth of the company’s HIS business initiatives, including all coding services performed for HAP’s diverse client base.
