Position Title: Marketing Coordinator

Job Description: This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on B-to-B multimedia marketing experience in the healthcare industry within an organization that recognizes and rewards initiative and innovation. The Marketing Coordinator at Healthcare Administrative Partners assists the Marketing Director in all sales support and marketing functions, focusing on the execution of day-to-day activities required to achieve plan objectives within designated target segments. Such responsibilities may include:

  • Utilizing the contact database / CRM to perform a variety of data analysis, file export / import, and data integration tasks, both scheduled and ad-hoc
  • Assisting in qualification of leads that are received via the company’s inbound marketing efforts
  • Maintaining the content / editorial calendar and ensuring that content development milestones are being achieved on-schedule via coordination of the review and approval process
  • Coordinating the overall production and output of sales proposals, including editing / proofreading content
  • Owning the social media functions within the company specific to identifying and increasing targeted content distribution and brand awareness opportunities
  • Managing the development of multimedia marketing collateral, including outside creative and production resources utilized
  • Maintaining adequate inventory levels for the company’s printed collateral and trade show materials
  • Performing basic website updates directly via WordPress or via outside vendor management
  • Producing monthly website / digital marketing analytics reports
  • Monitoring SEO performance and auditing agency management of same
  • Managing the ongoing optimization of all paid media / advertising campaigns
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of company trade show exhibits, speaking engagements and sponsored symposia, including some travel within the continental US
  • Executing ongoing competitive research in conjunction with the Product Manager and issuing regular analysis reports
  • Budget management and tracking via processing of vendor invoices for approval and payment
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Business or related field
  • Exceptional written communication skills, including an understanding of both modern advertising copywriting and public relations writing principles
  • Up to 3 years of work experience or equivalent internships in a marketing role, preferably within the healthcare industry
  • Proficient in MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated understanding of business-to-business marketing concepts specific to lead generation, qualification, nurturing, and conversion analytics
  • Familiarity with content marketing principles and tactics
  • Understanding of the sales process / funnel stages and associated communication tactics
  • Experience with or working knowledge of marketing automation and CRM tools such as Hubspot, ACT!, and Salesforce.com
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, website management and SEO, Google Analytics best practices
